This is a library-loving blog challenge!
I am the child of two librarians, a librarian myself, and an author. My wife works part-time in a library, my brother-in-law works in a library, and yes, many of my close friends are librarians. So you know I love libraries! So when I was asked by writer-friend Jennifer R. Hubbard to do the library-loving challenge, what was I going to say? So here goes:
For every commenter on this post between now and the end of the day on April 1st, I will donate $1 to the struggling Philadelphia Libraries (with a max of $100). http://www.libraryfriends.info/index.ph p
How easy could it be? You comment, I cough up the money, the library gets a gift! If you don’t know what to say in your comment, "I love libraries" and/or "I love Josh Berk" will do.
Note that this pledge is per commenter —so if a single person leaves 50 comments, that still only counts once! But you can do more by spreading the word ... please link to this post, and send your friends here so they can comment and raise more money. For a complete list of participating bloggers (and to visit other sites where you can help libraries just by leaving a comment!) visit the writerjenn blog at http://writerjenn.livejournal.com/
